Ann S. Bergen, ESQ.
Ann is an attorney who cares about people. Leveraging experience gained with a Cleveland-based corporate law firm and her tenure as an attorney with The Legal Aid Society in Painesville, Ann opened her own firm in 1998.
While practicing in a variety of areas, Ann’s forte is domestic relations. At The Legal Aid Society Ann represented the indigent population in domestic relations matters, including domestic violence, divorce, child custody, child support, and visitation issues. Her experience there helped mold her philosophy of professionalism and compassion.
An active supporter of the community, Ann is the Board President of Lake County’s Forbes House, which provides services to battered women and their children. She also donates time by outsourcing her services as a volunteer attorney, and her firm accepts pro bono cases from the Legal Aid Society.
Ann received her B.A. in Political Science from John Carroll University and her Juris Doctor Degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association.
Based in downtown Willoughby, her firm – The Law Offices of Ann S. Bergen – focuses on general civil and criminal cases. Her firm provides comprehensive services in the areas of family law, corporate business law, personal injury, wills/probate, and criminal law.
